Our childcare facility is looking for a caring, compassionate Childcare Team Member who has experience caring for children ages six weeks to two years.

Candidates must be comfortable working with infants..

We are currently looking to fill a fulltime, co-lead position.

Duties

Responsibilities of the Child Care Co-Lead:

• Providing care for children, such as feeding, changing diapers, and cleaning rooms and toys.
• Collaborating with the classroom co-lead to reach the educational goals and objectives for the classroom.
• Ensuring children are learning positive behaviors and providing guidance or approved discipline, as needed.
• Keeping records relating to childcare.
• Working with parents to help children progress towards educational and behavioral goals.
• Create and maintain a fun, nurturing environment for all children enrolled in our facility

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be comfortable working with infants
• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Decisiveness, patience, and stamina to chase after, lift, or carry children.
• Ability to pass a background check & physical exam.
• Exceptional communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of stages of childhood development.
• Attentiveness to the needs and safety of children.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is a bonus!
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
