We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. As an Assisant Teacher/Float staff , you will be responsible for assisting the education and nurturing of students, This Position is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. The main classroom will be the infant room but will be asked to got to toddler rooms when low and cover lunch breaks as well.
Duties:
- Support co-workers in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide instruction to students using various teaching methods and techniques
-Support the afternoon care
- Help create an sanitized and cleansed enviorment for the next day.
# Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Education or related field Or High School Dipolma
- Previous experience working with students in a daycare, or child welfare setting
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies
- Experience in special education is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and behavior
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children of all abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Physically able to lift children
Physically able to sit with children on the floor, children’s tables and ground.
