Lead Teacher

Duties

Position hours are split shift Monday - Friday 515-915am and 2-6pm. We are looking for a full-time or 2 part time employees. Must have an Associate's Degree in education or a Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field, or be level 12 or higher on The WI Registry.

The Lead Teacher is responsible for:

• Supervision and safety of the children assigned to his/her care
• Comply with all Department of Children and Family rules and regulations for licensing
• Assist students, individual or in small groups, with assigned classroom lessons
• Communicate with parents/guardians via email, telephone and or in-person
• Implement strategies to guide positive behaviors with ongoing interaction and play
• Light housekeeping duties
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

We are looking for dependable individuals who:

• Are a level 12 or higher on The Registry
• Pass required state background/fingerprint checks
• Have at least 6 months experience planning and managing a preschool or before/after school classroom
• Ability to walk up and down stairs, run, sit on the floor, and lift up to 40lbs
• Possess sound judgement
• Computer skills
