Lead Preschool Teacher

Summary

Our Saviour Lutheran School is seeking an experienced and caring Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young learners.

Duties

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
• Foster a positive classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being at all times
• Communicate with parents regarding child progress and classroom updates
• Maintain accurate records and follow all licensing, health, and safety guidelines
• Consistently come to work Monday-Friday 8:00-1:00

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Early Childhood Education coursework or degree preferred
• Prior experience working with preschool-age children
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills
• Must pass background check and meet state childcare requirements
