Duties

• Assist in the implementation of curriculum activities and encourage participation by children.
• Actively engage in daily classroom activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of materials.
• Maintain open and frequent communication with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
• Model and encourage self-help skills and good hygiene habits.
• Support smooth daily transitions from home to the childcare center.
• Follow all center policies and state childcare regulations.
• Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Of good character and reputation
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build positive rapport with children, parents, and coworkers
• Positive, patient, and energetic demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum 3 months of professional childcare experience
• Understanding of child development
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Must pass a full background check and health screening
