Bus Driver/Assistant Teacher Preschool

Summary

We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Bus Driver/Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for working with young children, particularly those with experience in private school settings or early childhood education

Duties

• Transport children to and from public school programs (training provided)
• Support the Teacher to implement lesson plans and educational activities as outlined.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure clarity of expectations and objectives.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
• Assist in curriculum development by providing feedback on lesson effectiveness and student engagement.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports students.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, ensuring safety and adherence to school policies.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, interactions and learning as required.

Requirements

• over 23 years old with a clean driving record
• Must hold a valid drivers license
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Previous experience in private school settings or daycare environments is a plus.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Experience in classroom management is a plus, but not required.
• Background or knowledge in early childhood education or Montessori methods is preferred but not mandatory.
