Summary

At New Morning Schools, we strive to provide consistent, high-quality childcare to families in Southern New Hampshire! Your time at the before and after school programs will require energy, patience and a spirit of cooperation. The children are either at the beginning or end of their day and caring staff can make all the difference to a child during those important before and after school hours. Your goal each day should be to check in with each child, even if it's just to say hello. Children look up to our Team Members as role models and we want you to make a difference! • Our off-site School Age Programs is located in Bedford and Manchester
• Hours at this location are 6:30-8:30am and 2:45-6:00pm, Monday thru Friday
• Flexible and part time schedules are available

• Sub/Travelers

Duties

 Duties for each position will vary, but everyone is responsible for:

• Helping maintain a safe environment for children and staff
• Encouraging positive behavior guidance
• Greeting parents and children daily
• Helping to train new staff members as needed
• Attending monthly staff meetings at your program and the NMS main office
• Following the day-to-day staff assignments
• Communicating with the office when needed
• Substitute for staff at another location if needed

Requirements

Requirements for each position vary:

• Assistant Group Leaders - no experience needed
• Group Leaders and Program Administrators - 600 hours of experience working with children OR 3 college credits in the ECE/EDU field
• Site Directors and Site Coordinators - 1000-2000 hours of experience with 6-12 college credits in ECE/EDU OR an associate's degree or higher in the education or recreational field

Nice To Haves

• 1-2+ years experience working with school age children
• CPR/ First aid certified - we will train if not currently certified
