The Academy Director is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education, for all children within the center's care. The Academy Director is directly accountable for overall operational management in accordance with well-established guidelines, including curriculum development, employees and facilities management, legal and budgetary considerations, and long range planning. The Academy Director ensures that the needs of the students and the goals of the center are met appropriately.
This position reports to the directly to the Owner/CEO.
Associate Degree in Early Childhood or related field
A minimum of 3 years of working experience in a licensed child care facility.
SLED, FBI, and Central Registry Background Check (conducted by the company)
Health Assessment & TB Test
Additional Preferred Qualifications for Management, but not required:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership position.
Early Childhood Certification and/or Advanced Degree.
Management/leadership training will be provided by the company.
