Little Feathers Learning Center
We are seeking a nurturing, patient, and dedicated Infant Educator to join our passionate team at Little Feathers Learning Center. This position is ideal for individuals who have a heart for early childhood development and a strong understanding of infant care and milestones.
As an Infant Educator, you will be responsible for creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months. You will support each child’s development through individualized care routines, sensory-rich experiences, and responsive caregiving. Our infant classrooms are relationship-based and emphasize connection, trust, and secure attachments.
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, understands the importance of consistency and routine, and values strong communication with both children and families. At Little Feathers, our educators are seen as co-learners and collaborators in the child’s early learning journey.
Duties
Responsibilities include:
- Following individualized feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules
- Engaging infants in age-appropriate sensory, language, and motor activities
- Maintaining accurate daily logs through our digital parent communication platform
- Collaborating with co-educators to ensure high-quality care and supervision
- Building strong, trusting relationships with families through open communication and respect
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred
- Understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving practices
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Dependability, patience, and a collaborative spirit
- Willingness to work a semi-flexible schedule based on school needs
