Summary
The cook is an essentail role at Blossom Center. This postion includes opening the center, cooking meals, and helping with lunch breaks. As a staff memeber you are required to complete trianings, attend staff meetings, and follow DHS rules and regulations for child care.
Duties
- Meal prep and preparing
- Ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards
- Managing food storage
- Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Ordering food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
- Performing checks on the quality of ingredients
- Handling and resolving any issues or complaints related to the food or service
- Dish washing
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and children
Requirements
- High school dipolma or higher
- Kitchen related experience
Nice To Haves
- CPR
- Food handler certificate
- Chidcare experience
