Summary
We are currently seeking a full-time Lead Teacher to work with in our Preschool Classroom (3 & 4 year-olds) at our Columbia Academy. This classroom holds 8-10 children and a curriculum guide will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a love for children and a passion for teaching. Experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the teacher who is eager to learn. Our program runs from 7:00am - 5:00pm (covid hours, normal closing is 6:00pm). Duties
Responsible for overseeing the childcare practices in the classroom including implementing/posting the curriculum and lesson plans, following licensing guidelines, communicating with parents, implementing activities, handling classroom paperwork, classroom decor, parent/teacher conferences, and delegating duties to Asst. Teacher, etc.
Requirements
Clear SLED, FBI, and Central Registry Background check. Health Assessment/Physical, High School Diploma/GED
