Are you someone who believes puddles are for jumping, sticks are for building, and toddlers are the wisest adventurers of all?

Welcome to Next Generation — our nature-based early childhood program is expanding, and we’re on the lookout for a Young Toddler Teacher to join our team between now and June as we open a brand new classroom!

🐛 What We're About:

At our core, we believe learning happens best when it's messy, joyful, and rooted in nature. Our program is all about process-based exploration, child-led curiosity, and strong relationships with both the land and one another. From muddy boots to leafy crowns, we embrace it all — and we’re seeking a teammate who’s ready to dig in (literally and figuratively).

Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Co-create a nurturing, engaging space for young toddlers (12–24 months).
• Guide children in open-ended play, sensory experiences, and outdoor adventures.
• Communicate openly with families and fellow educators.
• Collaborate on curriculum ideas, classroom setup, and seasonal projects.
• Support the launch of our new toddler room with creativity and care.

• You're process-over-product in your teaching style.
• You're excited to support young children’s growth through movement, sensory play, story-sharing, and time spent outdoors in all seasons.
• You’re reliable, flexible, and ready to be part of a mission-driven team.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young children.
• 12-24 College Credits in Education or a related field

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with young children
