  • CDA, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a licensed childcare center, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of childcare licensing regulations and quality standards
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be familiar with Procare Software System
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Duties

Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the School Director in daily administrative and operational tasks
  • Assist in supervising and mentoring teaching staff to ensure high-quality classroom practices
  • Help manage enrollment, scheduling, and parent communications
  • Ensure compliance with Bright from the Start, CACFP, and other regulatory guidelines
  • Facilitate staff training, professional development, and performance evaluations
  • Act as a role model of professionalism, leadership, and teamwork

Requirements

Qualifications:


  • CDA, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a licensed childcare center, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of childcare licensing regulations and quality standards

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with curriculum planning (e.g., Creative Curriculum, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or other early learning models)
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict with professionalism and empathy
  • Knowledge of quality rating systems (e.g., Quality Rated in Georgia)
  • Background in family engagement or parent education programs
  • Passion for mentoring staff and creating a positive school culture
