Overview:

Angels Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Classroom Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. We are committed to providing a warm, inclusive, and developmentally enriching environment for our students. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in early childhood education and a heartfelt commitment to nurturing young learners. This role involves hands-on teaching, implementing creative and structured lesson plans, and utilizing a blend of the ABEKA Curriculum in addition to Creative-inspired methodologies to support each child's unique learning journey.


Duties

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support holistic development and align with the best educational practices.
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and growth.
  • Provide individualized support and early intervention as needed, ensuring that every child receives the attention and guidance to thrive.
  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with families, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s learning journey.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom that reflects the values and standards of Angels Academy.
  • Regularly assess and document students’ progress to inform instruction and support developmental milestones.
  • Stay engaged in professional learning opportunities to remain current with educational trends and improve teaching effectiveness.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in toddler and preschool classroom management is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or a similar child-centered educational philosophy is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a developmentally appropriate curriculum and engaging lesson plans.
  • Experience with working with challenging behaviors, and/or early intervention strategies  is a strong advantage.
  • A nurturing spirit and a deep passion for guiding young children in a private school setting.
