The Early Learning Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining a nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages birth to three years of age, in accordance with Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) standards. The teacher ensures a safe, engaging, and supportive space that promotes children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Education: Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA), Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC), or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood education setting.
Certification: Must be registered in the Georgia Professional Development System (GaPDS) and maintain current required credentials.
Knowledge of GELDS, Bright from the Start policies, and best practices in early childhood development.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Experience working in a Georgia Pre-K or Quality Rated child care setting.
