Afternoon Preschool Teacher & Closer

Summary

Haygood United Methodist Preschool is looking for an afternoon preschool teacher and closer. This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic, responsible individual interested in gaining experience working with young children. Work hours are from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm and could be 5 days a week or 3-Days a week; Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

Duties

• Provide safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate supervision of children in one of our preschool classrooms. Our school offers childcare for children 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Assist with bathroom duties or diapering as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and teachers.
• Ensure all students have been picked up and checked out of our management app at 5:30 pm.
• Turn off lights and make sure all teachers have left for the day.
• Report any pertinent information with the director.

Requirements

• Experience working with children.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Have reliable transportation.
