Ridgedale Parkway in North Chesterfield, VA. With up to 104 students, from ages
6 weeks to 12 years old. Our caring team is committed to your child's safety,
fun, and education.
The Office Manager reports to the Executive Director and Assistant Director. The person for this position must have 24 hours of annual
training hours 1 month after hire or promotion. The primary purpose/function for this position will be to provide clerical services for The Noble Academy, Inc., Work
under general supervision and handle confidential information and frequent
contact with and outside agencies, and the public. This position requires the
person to be able to priorities their work and be able to work mostly
independently. The person for this position will also serve as back up for classroom
teachers in case of absence. The person for this position must be
willing to work in any compacity needed.
The qualification for this job is a high school diploma or
GED. We would prefer someone who has a a two-year college degree, but this is not mandatory. The Office
Manger must have knowledge and skill to be able to use computers and familiar
with the operation of them. Must be a reliable partner with staff and clients, go beyond helping them trouble shoot,
must be a problem solver and critical thinker, and must be able
to make informed decisions.
Special Knowledge/Skills for Office Manager/Assistant:
Experience for Office Manager:
Any person applying for this position must have good attendance and reliable transportation, and two or more years in advanced secretarial/clerical experience with extensive contact with people. The person applying for this position should have at least 2 years of experience of working with children in a Childcare setting and be formular with the operation of a Childcare center.
The Board may find appropriate and acceptable alternatives to the above qualifications. Anyone who does not have most of the above qualifications will not be considered for the position.
For this position you must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check, Child Protective Services Background Check, and a Skin Tuberculosis test. Furthermore, for this position it is required that the teacher must complete 13 hours of online training upon being hired. This training must be completed before you are able to start work. Reliable transportation is necessary, and you must truly desire to work with children in a childcare setting.
