Job description

  • Full-Time Hours 9:00AM-6:00PM (Mon-Fri) (Hours Vary)
  • Weekly Pay (direct deposit)
  • Develop and deliver fun, educational curriculum based on centers' philosophies while adhering to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by official sources.
  • Create positive learning environments using a wide range of teaching methods to enhance the child's abilities
  • We are a learning center, be creative with activities.
  • Evaluate children's performance to make sure they are on the right learning track, and meeting milestones.
  • Ensures the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe.
  • Develop strategies to guide positive behaviors.
  • Build good, open communication with children, families, and staff
  • Potential staff must have proper attire for workplace (and hygiene)
  • Willing to learn and try new things, must be teachable, and adaptable.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Duties

Child care workers play a vital role in supporting children's development and ensuring their safety. Here are some common job duties in child care:


1. **Supervision**: Monitoring children’s activities to ensure their safety and well-being.


2. **Assisting with Daily Activities**: Helping children with daily tasks such as eating, dressing, and hygiene.


3. **Planning Activities**: Organizing educational and recreational activities that promote learning and development.


4. **Creating a Safe Environment**: Ensuring the space is safe, clean, and welcoming for children.


5. **Supporting Emotional Development**: Providing emotional support and guidance to help children build social skills and self-esteem.


6. **Communicating with Parents**: Keeping parents updated on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.


7. **Maintaining Records**: Keeping records of children's behavior, development, and health.


8. **First Aid**: Being prepared to respond to emergencies and administer first aid as needed.


9. **Collaborating with Colleagues**: Working alongside other staff to create a positive learning environment.


10. **Cultural Sensitivity**: Respecting and incorporating diverse backgrounds and cultures in activities and interactions.

Requirements

Education:

  • High school or equivalent

Nice To Haves

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Preferred)
  • Childcare Certification (Preferred)


Salary : $12 to $15/Hr
