Early Childhood - School Nutrition Worker

Summary

The School Nutrition Worker will be responsible for food preparation and serves meals and snacks to center children and staff. The School Nutrition Worker is responsible for maintenance, cleanliness, inventory and safety of kitchen. They will also order food and cleaning supplies for the kitchen.

Duties

• Cook and prepare food in accordance with nutritional guidelines and food restrictions.
• Prepare, cook and deliver meals.
• Maintain hygiene and safety of kitchen in according with state licensing requirements.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• 1 – 2 years of professional experience in food service; preferably in child care or institutional setting.
• Basic math skills for measuring and portioning.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear full background check.
• Must pass health screening.
• Maintain a Serve Safe

About Us

Our services are tailored to meet the needs of children and their families. We begin our programming for children as young as 6 weeks old and continue until their 13th birthday. Our hours of operation are quite accommodating. Some centers open at 5:30am or 6:00am until 6pm. Our employees are also educated to handle emergency situations. All of them hold certifications in both first aid and CPR.
