Our childcare center is currently hiring enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team! We are hiring for a preschool teaching aide.
Hours are 11:00am- 5:30pm, Monday-Friday. Always guaranteed to have weekends and nights off! Other hours may be available based on other staff member's attendance.
As a childcare staff member, you will have the opportunity to work with preschool aged children, helping them learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. We are looking for candidates who are patient, kind, and have a genuine love for working with children. We offer on-the-job training and ongoing professional development opportunities to ensure that our staff members are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to provide the best care for our children.
You will have the opportunity to be placed in different classrooms at different times and get to know all the children in our center as well as collaborate with several of our teachers and staff members. As a floating teaching aide, you will take guidance from each classroom's regularly assigned teacher, or teaching assistants. You will also be part of our center's closing crew and will be responsible for making sure classrooms are organized and orderly at the end of the day. Light cleaning may be asked of you, however we do have a cleaning lady that comes at the end of each school day.
Duties will include:
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to pass a NYS background check.
Must have Highschool diploma or GED.
Previous experience in a licensed childcare center
