Duties

- Manage and supervise the classroom to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for young children.

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans to promote early childhood education and development.

- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere.

- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children's progress and address any concerns.

- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all students.

- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and fellow staff members.

- Implement behavior management strategies to support children's social and emotional development.

- Utilize early intervention techniques to address any developmental delays or challenges in children.

- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and incorporate them into daily teaching practices.

- Foster a love for learning in young children through engaging and interactive teaching methods.

Requirements

CDA Certificate-Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

Experience working with young children in a classroom setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering children's holistic development
