Duties
- Plan and implement engaging and educational activities and lessons
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents and co-workers
- Observe and document children's progress and development
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Help each child reach developmental milestones
Requirements
- High School diploma
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- CPR/First Aid certification - if not completed, we will provide this training within 90 days of employment
- Ability to pass a Background Check (Finger Print) and CPS (Child Protective Service) Check in VA or Out of State if less than 5 years
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
- Experience in early childhood education or related field
- Hold CDA or other associate's degree or higher
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
- Current Medication Administration Training (MAT)
