Before/After School Monitor

Summary

We are seeking before and after-school monitors for our school-aged students 6-12 years old.

Duties

1. Maintain the safety and security of all students
2. Take classroom attendance upon student arrival
3. Follow the classroom activity schedule
4. Provide homework assistance to students during the first 45 minutes of class
5. Model acceptable behavior to students
6. Maintain an organized and sanitary classroom, restock
7. Follow all center policies
8. Serve supper components to all students.
9. Attend all center trainings, meetings, and center events
10. Wear uniform, well-groomed hair

Requirements

1. Pass Criminal Records Check
2. High school diploma or GED
3. Must be at least 21 years of age
4. One year working as a school monitor at an elementary school, recreation center, or licensed childcare facility
5. Possess excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
6. Flexible to work school breaks, holidays and early dismissal and summer breaks
