HIGHLAND PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH NURSERY AND WEEKDAY SCHOOL is seeking part-time teachers to work during our Extended Play program, Monday-Friday, from 11:45-3:00 pm. Responsibilities include supervision of small groups of young children, ages 0-5, in the afternoons, occasional staff meetings, and annual professional development.
QUALIFIED APPLICANTS will have a background in Early Childhood Education an/or experience working with young children in group settings. Our school year runs from late August through late May.
Extended Play teachers work with small groups of young children from 11:45-3:00 pm, supporting them through lunch, supervised indoor and outdoor play, and rest time.
A background in Early Childhood Education and direct experience working in an early childhood setting.
