Summary
Clayton Early Childhood Center is seeking an educator with experience and passion for the education of young children. Our infant classrooms have eight children enrolled and we are seeking a third, full-time educator for the classroom. Our ratios for most of the school day exceed the state requirement, allowing for individualized attention and experiences for our students.
Duties
- Supporting supervision policies and practices
- Ensure that each child's needs are met throughout the day
- Communicating with other classroom teachers and families
- Provide support to the classroom to help execute developmental experiences
- Assist in documenting daily requirements and developmental milestones
Requirements
Prior to employment, completing the following:
- Physical
- TB Test
- Background Screening
- Fingerprinting Screening
- Drug Test
Once employed:
- Maintaining required professional development hours
- Sitting on the floor/ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid
- Certification in Safe Sleep Practices
