Responsible for the following job duties:
· Works as part of a team to plan and organize all activities related to delivering the curriculum, “Al’s Pals: Kids Making Healthy Choices” to preschool classrooms participating in the STAR Kids Program.
· Lead lessons independently in accordance with the curriculum to assigned preschool classrooms, partner with classroom teachers to integrate concepts from the curriculum into the classroom routine, and participate in community engagement activities as appropriate.
· Position requires regular travel to Charlottesville, Albemarle, Nelson, Louisa, and/or Fluvanna County multiple days per week. Morning hours required, late August through early June annually. Program operates on a school year calendar.
Successful candidates will have:
· Experience working with young children in an early childhood setting, or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with equivalent experience.
· Current and valid driver’s license and maintain at all times an automobile insurance policy.
