Are you nurturing, upbeat, and love spending time with little ones? We’re looking for a caring, energetic personality to join our growing family at Brotman Early Learning Center!

We’re a play-based, year-round center serving kiddos from 6 weeks to 5 years old—and trust us, these little explorers keep us moving! Right now, we’re looking for our third teacher to join our Infant Classroom (ages 6 weeks–12 months).

Duties

What You’ll Do:

  • Be a Classroom Rockstar: Support the lead teacher and classroom team to create a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate space for learning.
  • Make Learning Fun: Help plan and implement engaging, play-based activities that reflect children’s interests and cultural backgrounds.
  • Observe, Reflect, and Grow: Document children’s progress and use it to guide daily learning opportunities.
  • Connect with Families: Share updates about children’s activities and development through warm, clear communication—both in writing and in person.
  • Keep It Clean & Safe: Support healthy routines, tidy up throughout the day, and maintain a safe classroom environment.
  • Encourage Independence: Model positive language, ask open-ended questions, and help children solve problems creatively and respectfully.
  • Work as a Team: Collaborate with teachers, stay flexible with the schedule, and bring a positive attitude every day.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for working with young children in a play-based setting
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new things
  • Openness to learning about Jewish values, traditions, and history
  • Positive customer service mindset when interacting with families
  • Ability to maintain records and documentation accurately

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have previous experience in early childhood education
  • Are CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • You’re 18 or older and ready to join the fun
  • Able to pass the DCYF background check—because safety is our #1 priority
  • Someone dependable who shows up on time and brings their best every day
  • A kind, caring teammate who treats our staff, kiddos, and families with respect and warmth
  • You’ve got experience caring for infants—diapers, bottles, and baby giggles are your jam!
