Summary
The After School Administrator is a key member of our team, responsible for creating and maintaining a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our students.
Under the guidance of the Director, you will collaborate with teachers to deliver high-quality educational programs that foster children's growth and development.
Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate activities aligned with children's interests and learning goals. Oversee daily program operations, ensuring
adherence to safety protocols and licensing requirements. S/he must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Assisting the
staff in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents, the After School Administrator observes
and documents children's interest and progress, and relays that information back to parents and Director.
Duties
Drive 15 Passenger School Bus to pick up children from school
Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
- Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials
- Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports
- Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling
- Help ensure smooth, daily transition from school to the child care center
- Follow all center policies and state regulations
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
- Help manage Summer Camp, Field Trips, and STEM Projects
- Offer homework assistance
- Maintain accurate attendance records for the class
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Experience working with children ages 4 to 12 years
- High energy
- Willing to participate in annual child care training
- Ability to work well with others
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
- A strong understanding of child development
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Must clear full background check
- Must pass health screening
- Good Motor Vehicle Report with Valid Driver's License
