We are looking for caring educators to assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment and providing engaging play with our students. These and other assigned duties will occur in our gorgeous home-like setting nestled on the grounds of Oak Knoll Park! Job Type: Part-time 10 to 25 hours a week---Available Monday - Friday, either 7:30am-9:30am, 4-6PM, or 1-6pm. Additional substitute hours are available!

Duties

• Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
• Maintain proper supervision of all children.
• Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
• Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
• Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• High energy.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must clear full background check, fingerprinting and drug test.
• Complete and pass a physical and TB test.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with child development
• Certification in Infant/Child CPR & First Aid
