Summary
Westminster is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager who will serve as a support to our Kitchen Manager. The Assistant Manager will help in meal productions, planning meals, and health and safety practices. This position is for Early Childhood programs serving children 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Duties
- Assist and executing food prep and dish planning for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and behavior.
- Assist in documentation and structure of kitchen operations, including meeting CACFP requirements, completing food orders, prepping meals, etc.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met.
- Among other duties given by the Kitchen Manager or Preschool Site Director.
- Work Monday-Friday
- Assist in providing breaks for teachers
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass background check
- Complete ILEAD Training (Early Childhood State Requirements)
- Experience around food service, prep, and handling
Nice To Haves
- SafeServ certification
- 2 years of food service, prep, and handling experience
Salary : $10 to $14/Hr
