Preschool Teacher-Bilingual

Summary

We seek an energetic and nurturing educator who has demonstrated a love of teaching preschoolers activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth in preparation for kindergarten.

Duties

1. Supervise and ensure safety of all children
2. Adhere to Bright from the Start Rules & Regulations and Quality Rated guidelines
3. Follow the classroom schedule and routines for effective class management
4. Maintain an organized and clean classroom
5. Follow the curriculum framework
6. Plan activities in keeping with the framework
7. Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social-emotional skills
8. Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
9. Maintain a hazard and germ-free environment
10. Attend all team meetings, trainings, and center events

Requirements

1. Pass Criminal Records Check
2. Minimal age: 21 years old
3. Have a current CDA or be enrolled in an accredited CDA program and must have actual certificate within six months from the hire date
4. Minimum 1-year preschool lead teacher experience
5. Have reliable transportation to and from work
