Summary
We seek an energetic and nurturing educator who has demonstrated a love of teaching preschoolers activities designed
to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth in preparation for kindergarten.
Duties
- Actively supervise all children in your care
- Follow the classroom schedule and routines for effective class management
- Maintain an organized and clean classroom
- Follow the curriculum daily
- Execute planned daily activities according to classroom curriculum
- Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social-emotional skills
- Verbally and practically interact with all students in classroom and on playground
- Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
- Maintain a hazard-free and germ-free environment
Requirements
- Pass Criminal Records Check
- Possess current CDA
- Demonstrate 1-hour classroom working interview
- Minimum 1-year preschool lead teacher experience
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Attend all center training, meetings, and center events
- Follow all center policies
- Wear uniform daily
