Pre-K Lead Teacher

Summary

We are looking for a Lead Pre-school Teacher, preferably with CDA credentials or higher. Educators will have the opportunity to work with our emergent curriculum to provide and implement meaningful educational opportunities driven by children's personal interest and guided through play. Duties

• Caring for and attending to the classroom of children for which you are responsible
• Providing a safe and inclusive environment for learning and education to the best of your ability
• Maintaining daily communication and updates with parents via Brightwheel 
• Lesson planning based off age appropriate curriculum (lead teacher) and implementing it in lead teacher's absence (substitute)
• Maintaining a professional manner and confidentiality at all times while employed and after employment
• Lending time to other jobs around the building that promote the wellbeing of the learning environment, including but not limited to: cleaning, food distribution and preparation, prepping and restocking of materials, stepping in to help other teachers and classrooms that might not be your own

Requirements

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Early Childhood Education in a classroom setting.: 5 years (Required)
• Preschool or Daycare: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
