***This is not a Summer Job. Seeking workers willing to work all year around***

 

AlphaBEST: After School is where adventure begins!

At AlphaBEST, our students are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their guide, you'll help lead them through fun learning activities, with plenty of support and training.

Locations: Teacher Assistants are needed at Prince William County Schools in Woodbridge, Haymarket, Gainesville, Bristow, and Manassas.

Schedule: No weekends! Part time (mornings and/or afternoons)! The Before School hours are roughly 6:00-9:00 AM and the After School hours are roughly 3:00-6:30 PM. During the school closures, we run Camps with multiple shifts options between the hours of 6:00am -6:30pm

Duties

As an AlphaBEST Assistant Guide, you'll be trained to do the following:

• Assist AlphaBEST Guides as they lead a group of student explorers through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
• Have fun!
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.

Requirements

Here's what you'll need:

• Must have or be working on a high school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must pass a Background Screening and Central Registry check

• $14.00/hour starting pay and no experience necessary! Hiring Bonus Paid $175.00 up front and $175.00 after 6 months.
