We are looking for a Lead Teacher for our infant room to create an awesome team for a BRAND-NEW CHILD-CARE FACILITY that is opening in Rosendale, WI. Renovations will be complete roughly end of November 2024, so we are looking for staff to start December 2024.
We are creating a much-needed safe space within a local
community that has a need for childcare center. We are a small local owned
childcare center looking for amazing team members that want to educate, enrich,
and help our communities' children learn and grow.
The Lead will be responsible for developing a cohesive teaching
team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day schedule and
operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's
cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe
and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and
encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both
children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively
guide teacher assistants and resolve parental concerns.
The center, Countryside Learning Center, will be open 6:30-5:30
Monday-Friday.
· Coordinate and implement educational curriculum and lesson plans by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
· Lead by
example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
· Plan individual
and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage
social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
· Maintain
frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress
reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
· Ensure all
center policies and state regulations are met.
· Ensure a
healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and
cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
· Supervise
teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following
planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards.
· Maintain
accurate records, forms, and files.
· Maintain
personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality
improvement.
Preform other duties as assigned.
* Level 7 or higher on WI Registry preferred but will work with the right candidate.
*Paid holidays after 90 days:
*Workman’s Compensation Insurance.
*FMLA after 1 year of employment.
*Bereavement Leave ,3 days with pay for immediate family member,
after 60 days of employment.
*Sick Pay ,5days/ 40 hours, after 60 days of employment.
*Vacation Time ,40 hours + depending on years of service, after
60 days of employment.
*Flexible work schedule: Ability to work 4 ten hour shifts or 5
eight-hour shifts.
*Paid planning time each week
*Simple IRA with company 3% match after 60 days of
employment.
