Summary
Responsible for planning and implementing daily classroom lesson plans and assuring safety of children in the classroom.
Duties
- Responsible for knowing and following the policies and procedures of the Center, and State Licensing Rules & Regulations.
- Treating all of the children with dignity and respect.
- Assists and supervises children during all activities.
- Ability to help with potty training.
- Helps children with meal times and clean-up.
- Ability to provide the highest quality of Early Childhood Education.
- Meet yearly continuing education requirements.
- Completes all center and classroom paperwork (daily notes, incident reports, attendance reports).
- Maintain accountability for the children in your care during the course of your shift.
- Schedules and conducts parent and teacher conferences throughout the year.
- Physically arranges the classroom into well-defined interest areas .
- Directs activities of other staff in the classroom to ensure that the classroom functions in an orderly manner.
Requirements
- Prepares and implements classroom lesson plans, program, and schedule.
- Lots of patience and love.
- Highly professional, dependable and well presented.
- Able to interact with students of all ages and skill levels.
- Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a Child Protective Services background check.
- Certifications in CPR, First Aid Training and MAT a plus
Salary : $14 to $16/Hr
