Summary
We are looking for someone to join our team to perform the kitchen duties in our childcare center from 12:00 PM- 6:30PM. You will prepare and serve delicious and nutritious meals and snacks for our children and staff as well as maintain the kitchen to meet health and safety standards. The children in our center consider our cook to be one of their favorite people in the program.
Duties
- Prepare dinner and snacks for children and staff
- Clean, disinfect, and organize kitchen
- The ability to follow a menu to meet CACFP requirements
- Complete CACFP paperwork
- Manage the kitchen and meet all health and safety requirements
Requirements
Upon hire, applicant will need the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handler's card
- First Aid and CPR certification
- AZ Level 1 Finger Print Clearance Card
- Proof of a negative TB test
- Positive attitude and reliability
