MBS Kids ELA is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team and play a vital role in providing wholesome meals for our little ones. If you have a flair for culinary creativity and a heart for nurturing young minds, we'd love to hear from you! This position requires open availability and flexibility such as various events on evenings and Saturdays. Included in your responsibilities as the cook will be driving the bus and being in the classroom as needed.

Duties

• Prepare breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
• Clean and maintain the kitchen.
• Complete food orders weekly.
• Stock inventory and rotation.
• Update CACFP daily.
• Drive the Bus
• Help out in the classrooms as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous experience as a cook in a childcare setting or similar environment preferred.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating nutritious meals that appeal to children.
• Knowledge of CACFP guidelines and experience with related paperwork.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a nurturing and supportive environment.
• CPR Certified
• Food Manager Certification
