Ever dreamed of having a rewarding job AND your summers free? The Renewal Unlimited Head Start program is seeking a candidate with a passion for working with preschool aged children! This team-oriented position works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during the school year from mid-August into mid-June. Position has opportunity to start during the 2023-2024 school year, or in August 2024.
Duties
- Works under the direction of the Teacher to follow curriculum, spark creativity and help with school readiness goals
- Assists the Teacher in updating children’s Education Assessments
- Assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Teacher in the Teacher’s absence
- Carries out other activities as outlined by the Teacher
- Completes vision and hearing screenings
Requirements
- Must be available Monday through Friday, from August into June
- Must complete agency paid Early Childhood I & II classes within 1 year of hire. First course must be completed within 6 months of hire.
