Lead Pre-K Teacher

Summary

Kids & Cribs is seeking a full-time pre-kindergarten teacher for a four- and five-year-old classroom. Prior preschool teaching experience is required.

Duties

1. Maintain at a minimum a 3 Star level classroom
2. Implement Creative Curriculum
3. Develop weekly lesson plans and monthly newsletter
4. Conduct observations and assessments
5. Perform ASQ screenings, as needed
6. Schedule twice annual parent teacher conferences
7. Possess strong classroom management skills
8. Ability to lead and direct assistant teachers
9. Responsible for maintaining classroom resources and completing classroom assessments using ECERS
10. Attend required staff meetings

Requirements

1. High School Diploma. CDA or ECE Degree preferred.
2. Current Negative TB Test
3. Pass a state and federal background check
4. Ability to work an early shift and stay later if needed, on occassion
5. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Job requires lifting, bending, reaching, and requires ability to see and hear clearly.
