The right candidate will be working with about 20 school aged kids in our Summer Program. You will be responsible for managing a classroom, working with elementary aged kids, and helping them throughout the day. We are looking for someone ready to have fun with our students. You would be a role model for them in attitude and behavior. Follow safety rules. Clean the classroom daily and keep materials organized. You will be going outside, weather permitting for recess twice a day. We are a small school located on beautiful Isle of Hope. This is a full time job, with an 8 hour shift, Monday through Friday. Camp starts May 28 and goes until July 19th.
Leading Elementary aged kids in fun and creative activities. Candidate will plan these activities and gather supplies in advance. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe classroom. You will be required to follow a schedule, including daily outside time. You will assist children as they go throughout the day. You will be asked to follow a Bible based curriculum. You will need reliable transportation and to be dependable.
Must have a CDA or higher certification to be a lead teacher. Must have a valid CPR training credential.
A Lifeguard Certification so that the children can go to the pool.
