Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Center Director to oversee daily operations and uphold the highest quality of child care services.
  • Possess and maintain the Director Credential (required).
  • Accumulate a minimum of 2 years of experience in child care or education administration.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience working with students in an educational setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of state licensing regulations for child care centers.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a dynamic team.
  • Showcase excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Duties

Duties:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and industry best practices.
  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise child care staff.
  • Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with parents to address their concerns and ensure open lines of communication.
  • Manage the center's budget and financial operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to enrollment, attendance, and child development.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Ensure the center's facilities are clean, well-maintained, and meet all safety standards.

Requirements

  • Director Credential (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in child care or education administration.
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of state licensing regulations for child care centers.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
