Summary

Heart of Brooklyn Childcare & Preschool is seeking enthusiastic individuals to work in our program. Currently, we have a wait list for 2.5 to 3 year olds. We are looking to open a classroom with a start date of August 26th, 2024. If you are interested in quality education, then we are interested in you making Heart of Brooklyn the place where you want to work! Scheduled hours for this position are 8:00am to 5pm, with an hour lunch break. Serious applicants only!


Excellent compensation based on education & experience. Applicants with an associate or bachelor's degree and with EXPERIENCE and a LOVE for TEACHING, highly compensated!!!


We reiterate how important it is that the individuals we seek have a passion for teaching and for children. Broad knowledge of child growth & development, classroom management techniques, and developmentally appropriate activities. Must be able to work as a supportive member of our team.

Duties

As a teacher, you ensure children's safety and learning by providing and promoting a program that facilitates their health, growth, and development. Create an environment that motivates them to learn by innovative ideas that teach language, listening, social and physical skills through creative activities.

Requirements

Pass Background Request Check

Be 18 years of age.

A level 7 or higher on the registry for lead teacher position

A Passion for teaching!
