Full time position working with children from 2 years, 9 months through age 5. Associate degree in ECE or related field (Bachelors preferred) and 5 years of experience required. Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, leadership skills, positive attitude, knowledge of DAP and emergent curriculum, flexibility, sense of humor and ability to attend to multiple priorities. Warmth, understanding of diverse children and families and enthusiasm for hard work are paramount to success in this position. 24 annual hours of Professional Development is required.
Assume overall responsibility for the classroom including, but not limited to:
Maintain an active email account and check it daily for communication with the program.
Ensure continuity of care for children by reporting to work on time, maintaining consistent attendance, adhering to staff schedules, and demonstrating flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed.
Demonstrate flexibility and openness to new ideas and professional growth. Maintain and document a minimum of 24 hours of professional development annually. Attend all staff meetings and in-service training.
Maintain a State of NH Early Childhood Credential
Follow federal, state, town, and center health and safety guidelines.
