A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or higher is required. The ideal candidate should be dedicated to ongoing professional development and have at least 1-year of experience working in a childcare setting. They must also possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and oral). Additionally, they should have a good understanding of Bright From the Start regulations, the Quality Rated system, Environmental Rating Scales, and the Georgia State Funded Pre-K system. The candidate must pass a criminal background check and be CPR/First Aid certified. They should be able to maintain physical activity with young children, including lifting at least 35 lbs. They should be comfortable sitting at the computer for 3 hours or more at a time. A passion for working with children and a strong understanding of child development is a must.
