Summary
Haygood United Methodist Preschool is looking for an energetic and caring Lead Teacher in our Early-Preschool classroom. This job is a 40 hours per week position.
Duties
- Create a loving, nurturing and supportive environment for students to learn and grow.
- Implementing curriculum guidelines.
- Write and send a monthly newsletter.
- Actively Supervise Students
- Communicating daily with parents.
- Communicate effectively with and mentor teacher assistant.
- Complete bi-yearly progress reports
- Conduct bi-yearly parent/ teacher conferences
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
- Change diapers/ assist in potty training.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with young children
- Excellent communication skills
- A Growth Mindset
- Able to lift 40 pounds
