Position Overview
We are seeking a caring and attentive Infant Childcare Teacher to support the daily care and early development of infants in a nurturing childcare environment.
The ideal candidate understands the importance of patience, consistency, and close supervision when caring for young children and is committed to creating a comfortable environment where infants feel safe and supported.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and individualized care for infants
- Follow established routines for feeding, diapering, naps, and other daily needs
- Respond to infants' cues and provide comfort when needed
- Engage infants in simple activities that encourage sensory exploration and early development
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized classroom
- Monitor infants' health, safety, behavior, and overall well-being
- Complete required daily care records and documentation
- Communicate professionally with parents and guardians
- Prepare and maintain classroom materials and supplies
- Follow all applicable health, safety, childcare, and licensing procedures
- Work collaboratively with other childcare staff
Requirements
Qualifications
- CDA, TCC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous infant childcare teaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
